Hi, I’m running for a future for Denton built on smart growth, fiscal discipline, and building community consensus. Smart growth means not random, rampant growth but building on the unique qualities and values that make Denton special–instead of asking what we can give developers, asking what they can contribute to our community. And fiscal discipline means not just mindlessly rolling budget lines over from year to year, raising property taxes instead of making tough choices. It means program review and identifying wasteful administrative overheads that don’t help citizens, so our spending can truly reflect our priorities and values.
Experience that Counts

My thirty years experience as a corporate executive give me the skills to oversee our new City Manager and City Auditor in minding taxpayers’ money. And instead of the dynamic of steamrolling by council and blocking by neighborhoods, I will bring a spirit of inclusion, generating creative alternatives everyone can support.
