When Denton voted 59 percent in favor of banning fracking within city limits, agree or not, city council clearly knew the will of the voters. When the state banned the ban, Paul would have voted to defend our local control in court and not to repeal it. He still would, before fracking near schools, hospitals,  and homes resumes in earnest.

When city council wanted to fund the $265 million gas plant, the largest expenditure in Denton history, Paul would have called for a bond issue for Denton voters to weigh in. It’s our money after all.

Paul will hold regular open meetings on topics of interest to the public and will remain fully accessible by phone, email, and office visit. So when the next big council votes inevitably come, he will know where you stand and will defend your family’s health and safety.
